Chapter 1: Pretty vs. The Riott

Pretty is an Ulter Ego of Self - the real you, down to the heart of it. 

The part of you that is always ‘misunderstood’.The part of you that you express on a brave day. 

Everybody loves their Pretty, no matter how hard it is to admit it. Self-hate, it’s not caused by hating who you are - it’s caused by the riot.

The Riot is what happens when Pretties clash. It’s a disaster, and some don’t survive. Some get beaten down so hard, they become battered and bruised. When a Pretty hides away, you become someone different to who you were born to be.

It’s a tragedy.

You can see this at work when you or someone you know ‘changes’ to fit in. When you write a post, then delete it because you’re scared. 

Prettyriott is my personal attempt to try and show mine. I don’t want to become anyone else than who I was born to be.
